You do not need to be part of the bigger picture when you can do your own small part in saving the environment, in your own little way, in your own home and in your own capacity there is much to do to help our Environment. Human activity as we all know is the main contributor to the destruction of the environment and they are the only ones who can solve this environment problem well.

We need to be wiser in our choices. Our choice of energy source perhaps should be put into consideration, alternative energy sources like the sun, wind and water can be used instead of energy coming from the burning of fossil fuels. Also, one can also try to live with less use of electricity. This in turn can help reduce electricity cost and at the same time help in lessening carbon offsets.

Planting plants, trees and other useful fruits and vegetables can assure a person that he is safeguarding his welfare as well as that of the environment. Also, practice the 3 R’s. We have to reduce. Examples of which are the above mentioned names, we have to reuse whatever is still useful and recycle what can be recycled. This is to save energy, save landfill areas and to make ourselves productive.

Those were just some of the things on how to save environment. Do your part, do your part well.

There have been a lot of efforts related to conserving the environment. Many people are aware of the current state of our environment; the real problem is the lack of effort and action to contribute to the problem of the world. There may be a lot of efforts to conserve our environment but it is not enough.

There may be legislations, laws passed and bills being motioned but execution of these laws, bills and legislations come to nothing. Men continues to abuse the environment, the problem may be lessened but never eradicated. There may be environment interest groups but they are also not able to help prevent the problem of the environment.

Posters, ads and other environment warnings are posted. Many events, social function and other seminars have been conducted but they are nothing compared to the impact of the problem. Although one must credit countries, lawmakers and individuals for doing there part but there efforts unfortunately are not enough. There is the Kyoto protocol which is the existing agreement among participating countries today to help one another in combating the problem of global warming.

Conserving the environment is no easy task but it can be done. If only we are determined and focused on the things that we need to accomplish then we will truly be successful. It is not a task that one person should act upon but it is a joint effort that we need to put our minds on.
